love has won
I am very lucky and got two new students, they dropped in a few times during the last couple of months and boy where they fun. I am truly honored to be able to share some of my knowledge with them.
Last class, Camila (right) suddenly became adventurous and explored open some "locked cabins" on my chuck board, we found Bibles, small faith books and old newspaper clippings. She found the "magic opener" and was very animated about it. we couldn't find the secret door, but there is always next week.

today was a fun day, I didn't teach anything. I colored with the kids, sometimes you gotta just have fun with them. we played with oil pastel's and then molded some faces. i made the blue one.
In the early 1500's the father of modern astronomy emerged. Copernicus was born in 1473 in Poland. His Heliocentric solar system model, which put the Sun at the center and not the earth was simple and elegant. Can you imagine if we still thought the earth was the center of the universe.
