Todays blog post is a travel log. Its been a while since I posted one of these mostly because I haven’t traveled much since my last trip to Mexico a few years back. But today we have a new one.
NYC was going through a heat wave and it just so worked out that I was off from work that day and so I decided to go hiking!. One thing about me is I love being in nature when it’s hot out. I went hiking with a very good friend, the hike took about 3hrs and we were under the canopy most of the time so despite it being super hot I hardly felt uncomfortable. We went to Ramapo Mountain State Park in New Jersey. Saw lots of cool trees and wild life including a black bear! It was pretty big n I’ve never seen one in the wild before so it was a little scary but he was chill, he was just looking for food..we kept walking n it went its on way. I was hoping to get more hiking done this summer but I was busy with more important things, hoping next year will be better.
