Made this piece a few weeks back, it took about 5hrs, 1hr here 1hr there throughout the week. I really liked the final product in the frame. This was the 1st time i framed something, i usually just make things n store them away but this one was a special gift and so a frame was a must. My process is simple, I like to start with a black back drop, cut up some shapes from a variety of colors. I lay out different combinations and when I am please I begin to sew the shapes in layers.
