Welcome back,happy monday! Todays post is about my weekend trip. Drove for about 110miles upstate, spent the weekend in Saugerties NY. Went kayaking with my lady and had a great time. I love being on the water its super peaceful.

Todays post is a Ratatouille one! I am currently scanning Pixar’s Art of Ratatouille , It’s a beautiful book and I am excited to share all the gems in it. Ratatouille is one of Pixar’s top films, its got a great story and the visuals are right there with it. So enjoy these beautiful scans!

I love the way they tell their history, the visuals are great and its the type of animation short that really captures my attention…ENJOY!

A must have if you are interested in animation. The images below are from his films “Thief and the Cobbler” and “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”

Todays post is more Pixar colorscripts, this one form one of my favorite’s Monsters Inc. I adore this movie, they got everything right, and the pastel colorscripts are just so beautiful, they are done by Dominique Louis. I apologize for the way they upload, they are really big and if I uploading properly they will shrink in size. One of my goals for my blog is to share high quality art with viewers around the world. Todays update are some beautiful and nostalgic Hanna-Barbera Studios stuff. These pages are from the book Cartoon Modern by Amid Amidi. A brief introduction to the iconic studio can be found in Amidi’s book. I grew up watching these on the cartoon network. They where great, they remain great. True works of masters.

Todays update is the original colorscript from Pixar’s Toy Story 2. These beautiful illustrations are by Jim Pearson 1996 in Pastel. The idea was a direct to DVD movie but once the film was changed to theatrical Bill Cone took over further development. The images above are come complete.
